Dielectric Properties of Thermally Aged Polypropylene Nanocomposites

This article reports on an investigation into the effects of thermal aging structure and dielectric properties polypropylene (PP) nanocomposites. Magnesium aluminate (MgAl 2 O xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4 ), calcium carbonate (CaCO xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3 surface-modified T) nanofillers have been added to PP resulting nanocomposites subjected at 110 °C 140 °C. The results show that unfilled experiences a 13% reduction in its dc breakdown strength after reduces by 27% In contrast, all investigated is much less pronounced than aging. Specifically, PP/MgAl nanocomposites, PP/CaCO T 8%, 14%, respectively, Possible mechanisms affecting before are consequently discussed.
